Rhymes for the Times
There once was a man named Mittens
who said things like “no free rides for kittens.”
No one knew what next he might say,
but his handlers prayed it would not be on a slow news day.
There once was a man named Obama
who was not much for drama.
But each night he gave Republicans a fright
as they dreamed of his socialist agenda.

There once was a man named Barry
Who Tea Partiers find to be scary
Because his politics are definitely pink
And he has drowned the country in red ink.
Obama calling Bush “unpatriotic” for running up $4 trillion in debt in 8 years. Obama has run up $5 trillion in 3 years.
Bravo.
There once was a sophist from Maine
Whose musings were painfully strained
Donned “conservative” wool
Though no one was fooled
Pity what’s become of shame
Since I love Rudyard Kipling, I’ll have to chime in:
There was once a Prez names Hussein
Born in Hawaii–or so he claimed.
He blamed Bush for all the bad
Never admitted a wrong, not even a bitty tad
Hmm, a book of these would probably be perfect for the 2012 campaign. 🙂
Riffing on Magus…
There once was a Prez named Hussein
Who refused to take any blame
“It is all Bush’s fault,” he said again and again
It became his constant refrain
There once was a man named Romney
Who was a little bit bland, you see
He did not drink, nor smoke, nor swear,
Kind of like the Terminator.
The Terminator does swear.
I stand corrected.
Not at all-you said he was kind of like the Terminator. No analogy is perfect. Presumably the Romneynator is an early model and lacks the swearing upgrade added to the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101.
The Obamanator can swear and and smoke bud, so he is presumably a Cyberdyne Systems Model 202, sent from a more distant future to destroy America.
Maybe you are right about the Obamanator:
In August, some Democratic strategists let leak to the press that Obama’s top aides were looking at a massive character takedown of Romney in light of a deterring economy; “kill Romney” was a phrase used by one.

He does have an army of killer drones at his command. Perhaps Terminator was a prophetic warning of the robotic socialist apocalypse.
Gives the term “Obamabot” a whole new meaning!
